Eden residents given a reprieve

They have now been told their tenancies will not be terminated this year
Residents of the Eden residential development in Blackrock who were expecting to be evicted from their homes have now been told their tenancies will not be terminated this year.
The receivers control 127 apartments, 35 tenants received tenancy terminations from the receivers in January, leaving the remaining 90 tenants concerned they could be next.
In a statement the receivers say they intend to bring the 35 units to market this year, and use the proceeds of the sale to build units on the undeveloped land.
However, it said it would not issue any further terminations of tenancy to residents for the rest of this year
