35 tenants in the Eden Development received tenancy terminations from the receivers and now face an uncertain future.
The receivers control 127 apartments, 20 of the units have been vacated ahead of tomorrow's deadline, however the remaining 90 tenants are concerned they could be next
A spokesperson for Grant Thornton, the receivers, said it has yet to decide what to do with the rest of apartments under its control.
Calls are now being made for tenants to be better protected and a compulsory code of conduct for banks and funds where they're selling buy to let properties that are rented
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show on Cork's RedFM local TD Mick Barry of the Anti Austerity Alliance is urging the tenants to stay in their homes
