Efforts are underway to bring home the body of a Cork woman who died while trekking in Africa

Majella Duffy died last Friday from unknown causes while climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation
The 35 year old from Rathcormac raised over €9000 euro for the charity in memory of her late father who died from a heart attack at the age of 47 and since her death almost €900 has been donated to her fundraising campaign.
The Department of Foreign Affairs are providing consular assistance to her family while efforts continue to bring her remains home .
Speaking to RedFM News Fianna Fail Councillor for Fermoy and friend Deirdre O'Brien says it's devastating.
