Emergency Department 'Exceptionally Busy' At Cork University Hospital
Management are encouraging people to contact their GP and explore all available options before attending the ED
The ED has been exceptionally busy in recent days and hospital management say the situation is being treated as priority and they have taken steps to address the issue.
According to figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Oganisation, there are 39 people waiting for a bed at CUH today.
