Emergency Services prepare for Bonfire Night

Emergency Services are preparing for what is traditionally their busiest night of the year.
Fears of attacks on Emergency Services have been heightened following the attack on a Fire Engine in Mayfield on Monday night and extra Gardai will be on patrol tonight to ensure the night goes off without incident.
A local initiative set up to reduce anti-social behavior on Bonfire night will see up to 15,000 on the streets of Cork this evening.
Cork's Summer Fun nights, now in its ninth year has reclaimed Bonfire night for families and made it a safe and enjoyable night Leeside.
The Garda Mounted division will have horses at Farranree and Mayfield this evening.
