Emergency Services Respond To Calls For Suspected Drowning In Cork City

Ambulance services and Gardai arrived at the scene at Passage West at 12.10pm

Emergency services responded to calls for a suspected drowning in Cork city earlier this afternoon.

Ambulance services and Gardai arrived at the scene at Passage West at ten past 12 this afternoon.

Members of Cork coast guard were also on scene and have retrieved the body of the man from the water.

Gardai at Anglesea St say they are treating the incident as accidental.
