Enable Ireland launch fundraising appeal for new centre

Enable Ireland has launched a fundraising appeal for it's €7 million development of a Children's Centre in Bishopstown.

640 children and young people with disabilities currently receive vital therapy and support services from Enable Ireland at the Lavanagh Centre in Ballintemple however the charity has outgrown the building. 

Significant fundraising is now required to deliver the new Children’s Centre in Curaheen to conclusion.

Cork's RedFM is the official charity partner to Enable Ireland and have been supporting their effort to raise funds for the project which will be developed on the 7 acre site. 

CEO of Enable Ireland Fionnuala O'Donovan told RedFM News that she believes the four year time frame for the project is realistic.
