ESB crews continue to work into the night to restore power after Storm Ellen

ESB Networks has mobilised a full storm response in the wake of Storm Ellen, and its staff have been working to restore power to the 40,000 customers knocked off the power grid in Cork since early morning
Nationally crews have restored power to 90,000 homes, farms and businesses.
ESB Networks expects thousands more to be restored by tonight, but some homes in areas of Cork will remain without power tonight.
