ESB says full power restoration in Cork could take 3 days

More than 2,000 ESB engineers are working to restore power to 190,000 homes and businesses who are without power around the country. The crews are being assisted by staff from Northern Ireland Electricity. 48,000 people are without power here in Cork but the ESB hopes to re-connect the majority of these by this evening.. Listeners are being advised that repair works could run into two or three days due to the severity of the damage...
