ESB Working On Restoring Power To Thousands Of Customers
ESB crews are working to restore power to thousands of customers in the wake of Storm Eleanor.
A status orange wind warning remains in place until 2pm for all Atlantic coastal counties, from Donegal to Cork.
Met Eireann's warning that high winds combined with expceptionally high seas will result in coastal damage and flooding.
In the Macroom area 214 are off the grid.
In North Cork 33 are without power in Kanturk, and 68 in Cloonlough Mitchelstown are off the grid.
In West Cork 106 are without power in Clonakilty, 80 in Dunmanway, 36 in Enniskeane, 111 in Glengarriff and 66 in the Ballydehob area.
