Eurovision Proves To Be A Ratings Hit

Ireland may have come last in this year's Eurovision but it seems the show was a ratings hit for the state broadcaster. An average of over 799 thousand people watched the entire three hour show on RTE on Saturday night. This even beats Jedward's 2012 final, which was watched by an average of 764 thousand. Viewership peaked when Ireland's entry Ryan Dolan took to the stage with viewer figures rocketing to over a million.
