Everyman Palace Theatre Launch Spring/Summer Programme
It's hoped the programme will boost trade on MacCurtain Street
It's hoped the local economy will feel the effects of increased footfall on MacCurtain St in the coming months.
The Everyman Theatre's programme of events for Spring and Summer is being launched this evening and it's hoped there'll be a boost in trade on the street with the upcoming line up at the Cork venue.
As well as two world premieres debuting at the theatre, a four-week summer production has also been announced as well as two national tours.
Speaking to RedFM News artisitic director at the Everyman Julie Kelleher says there's been a rejuvenation of MacCurtain St in recent years and it's having knock on effects for every business located on the street:
