Three Apple facilities have been evacuated
Three Apple facilities in Cork have been evacuated at Hollyhill, Lavitts Quay and Model Farm Road due to a security alert
The action was taken on a foot of a suspicious call made this morning
Apple employs over 4,000 people across the three sites and all staff have been evacuated since 8 o'clock this morning
The Garda Press Office has confirmed that the Explosives Ordnance Disposal Unit has been notified and dispatched to Apple
