Extra boost for the English Market

The English Market looks set for another boost ahead of Fishmonger Pat O'Connell's trip to Buckingham Palace at the end of the month. A specialised midweek 'English Market' menu has been designed by Oyster's Restaurant at the Clarion Hotel created exclusively with produce from the market. Local and seasonal produce will also be promoted as Diners can now sample the day's freshest Cork foods in one sitting. Speaking to Cork's RedFM Head Chef Alex Petite says the concept was designed with the local economy in mind:
