Facebook investigate abuse of Cork teenagers images online

Tech giant Facebook are set to investigate how images of a number of Cork teens were lifted from the site and used on an international porn website without the teens consent.
Concerns have been expressed for child and personal safety after it emerged that the photos are then viewed and shared, with users of the Ireland Exposed section of the website, posting horrific and sexually graphic comments.
ChildWatch have warned that because some of the individuals are wearing their school uniforms it makes them more identifiable and traceable on social media platforms.
If the individuals in question are located on sites where locations services are enabled their physical location can be traced after the upload content to the site.
Speaking to RedFM News director of child watch Pat McKenna says there is potential on these sites for grooming to take place:
