It's after a recent data breach saw hackers access the names, email addresses and phone numbers of 29 million people.
The social network says half of those accounts also showed data, including hometowns, birthdays, and the last ten places people checked into.
Communications Committee Chair Deputy Hildegarde Naughton says an investigation's underway by the Data Protection Commissioner.
