FAI backs their man
The FAI is backing John Delaney saying it's more than happy with how he is running the Association. In a statement last night the Football Association of Ireland President Tony Fitzgerald said following recent coverage of the cyber bullying of his partner Emma English and the fact that John has publicly apologised if he offended anyone for singing a nationalist song, the Association is happy to bring the matter to a close... The statement, posted on the FAI website, said John Delaney has done an enormous amount for Irish football and is fully deserving of his contract extension to 2020. Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show John Delaney said he doesn't feel that the fans want him out of his position within the FAI Press PLAY button above to listen to the audio
