Families Critical Of Delays To New Drink Driving Laws

The mother of a boy killed by a drink driver says it’s an insult to her family that harsher laws on drink driving are being held up.
The Transport Minister has expressed his frustration that the Road Traffic Bill has been delayed by three months – saying it will save lives.
The Bill proposes an automatic driving ban for those caught driving with between 50 and 80 milligrams of alcohol in their blood.
Gillian Treacy's 4-year-old son Ciarán, was killed in a head-on collision with a drunk driver in April 2014.
She says she's dis-illusioned by Vintners and Politicians who were opposed to the change in law;
