Families Unable To Get Nursing Homes For Relatives Due To High Costs
People are being priced out of nursing homes - according to Age Action.
The charity says older people who qualify for the Fair Deal scheme are being prevented from taking up residence because of fees that amount to thousands a year.
The organisation says it's been inundated with calls from families who can't get a place for their sick and vulnerable relatives.
Advocacy Officer Justin Moran says they're concerned for the welfare of those affected:
