Family of Young Cork Undergoing Major Surgery In America Say They Are "Nervous But Very Optimistic"

18 year old Aaron McMahon from Shanagarry in East Cork will undergo the operation in Pittsburg after an online funding campaign raised over €140,000 for the surgery.
Aaron was given a terminal diagnosis and faced palative care after being told there were no further options available to him in Ireland.
The money raised by the campaign will cover the potentially life saving surgery in the US as well as the cost of flights, medications and accomodation
Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show on Cork's RedFM, Aaron's father Paul says they have seen multiple experts in the run up to tomorrows surgery:
