Farmer Protests Outside Meat Factories To Continue Today

Protests by farmers outside meat factories are to continue today.
Yesterday saw some of the largest turn-outs to date, despite a High Court injunction banning blockades at several sites.
Dawn Meats, ABP, Slaney Meats and Kepak have been granted the orders, but some farmers are refusing to leave until they get better prices for their animals.
Farmers staged a peaceful protest outside the ABP plant in Bandon yesterday evening and said they would maintain a presence outside the plant overnight.
Pat O'Toole from the Irish Farmers Journal says even though injunctions are in place, it's difficult to say if farmers will give up their protests:
