Farmers say the Minister must meet the maximum limit on funding for farmers affected by crop losses in 2016

They are occupying the Department of Agriculture until they get a satisfactory agreement from the Government

Four men have been camping out in the building since last Wednesday with many more travelling from all over the country to support them each day.

Fifteen thousand euro is the upper limit of funding that national Government can give to farmers in aid, but last Tuesday it was leaked that they were capping aid at five thousand euro.
