Farmers Say Their Future Is Bleak And They're Appealing To The Government To Listen To Their Plight And Take Action 

Farmers from Cork have travelled to Dublin where a major protest is being staged outside Leinster House to highlight the tough situation facing them and their local communities

Organisers are expecting hundreds to turn up, with tractors coming from across the country.

The group have 8 demands - including that farmers get a better price for their produce and a ban on imported food being labelled as Irish.

Cork farmer Ger Dineen told RedFM News that farmers are working at a loss and the situation is continuing to deteriorate:
