Farmers Will Continue To Protest Outside Meat Factories Across The Country This Weekend
Here in Cork, beef farmers blockading the ABP plant in Bandon have agreed a deal
They will allow a Chinese trade delegation to enter the plant on Monday.
Farmers reached the agreement with management at the plant yesterday to say they will not protest at the gates when Chinese veterinary inspectors visit the plant.
However they say as things stand they are prepared to continue with the blockades on Tuesday.
Elsewhere, Gardaí were called to an incident in Cavan yesterday evening.
