Fears high that the closure of Ryanair's base at Cork Airport for the Winter may not be temporary

Cork Chamber says the move by Ryanair is devastating for the staff impacted directly and indirectly

Cork Chamber says the move by Ryanair raises very real concerns regarding the ability of Cork Airport to avoid closure without further financial support from the Government

In a statement issued to RedFM News Chamber says the announcement is hugely damaging for regional and national connectivity and is devastating for the staff impacted directly and indirectly

Cork Airport supports 12,000 jobs in the region and generated over 900 million euro for the Irish economy last year

Speaking to RedFM News in the past few minutes Conor Healy from Cork Chamber says he fears that move by the airline to shut it's Cork base may not be temporary
