Business group IBEC claims a proposed minimum wage increase will cripple companies.

It's expected the Low Pay Commission will recommend the minimum wage be increased to €9.15.

That's an increase of 50cent an hour. 

IBEC says the rise would put pressure on businesses that are already struggling.
