Fears About Nurses' Pay Continue as Overcrowding In Cork Hits New High

The Finance Minister says he still hasn’t received a report yet on the future of nurses pay but it's expected that the Public Sector Pay Commission will reject a pay increase for nurses, who are looking for a raise to address staff shortages.

There are concerns nurses could engage in industrial action if they don’t get more money.

Minister Paschal Donohoe was tight lipped when asked about the reports.
