Festival Goers Warned Over Ticket Scams On Secondary Websites

Festival goers have been warned against buying second hand tickets ahead of the Indiependence Music Festival.

It comes as at least 60 music fans were left disappointed and out of pocket last week when they were refused entry to concerts with invalid tickets.

Todays Irish Examiner reports up to 10,000 people are exptected to descend on Mitchelstown this weekend, and amid warnings from organisers of ticket scams on secondary websites.

They are also advising festival goers that there will be an increased security and Garda presence at INDIE17, and this is likely to lead to increased queue time on entry.

Tom Odell  is the headline act in tonight’s line-up, followed by main stage headliners The Coronas on Saturday, while Welsh rock stalwarts the Manic Street Preachers bring proceedings to a close on Sunday night.
