Fianna Fail leader content with new Garda Commissioner earning more than Taoiseach

Michael Martin said he would not have a problem the Garda Commissioner earning €120,000 more than the Taoiseach
He said he is open to the next Commissioner being an internal or external appointment.
He's revealed the Taoiseach informed him of Noirin O'Sullivan's retirement on the fringes of the camogie final in Croke Park last week.
Deputy Martin says the Policing Authority must now find the best person for the job.
