Fianna Fáil TD Marc MacSharry Says Micheál Martin Should Not Lead Party In Next General Election

The Taoiseach has said he plans to lead the party into the next vote, which isn't due to take place until 2025.
Speaking to Ocean FM, Deputy MacSharry believes there should be a change:
"It's also incumbent on the leader of the day to be aware and conscious of their own popularity and value to the party in their leadership. And I think in that regard, that there is a broad expectation from grassroots members and parliamentary party members that change will be required in advance of the next general Election."
