Figures Showing Increase In Complaints To Tusla Described As 'Upsetting'
The complaints relate to creches, child minding and pre-schools.
Released under the Freedom of Information Act, the figures show complaints rose by 46% in the first six months of the year.
Five children attending childcare facilities went missing, while Tusla was notified of the deaths of two children in 2019.
Fianna Fail's Spokesperson on Children and Youth Affairs, Anne Rabitte says there has been an increase in the number of cases reported to Tusla by parents:
