File on Mikolaj Wilk murder still not sent to DPP

A file on the murder of Mikolaj Wilk in Ballincollig 3 years ago has still not been sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
That's according to this morning's Echo who recieved a statement from the Gardai confirming that the murder investigation is still
active and the Gardai are trying to piece it together.
The 25 year old Polish man was attacked at his home by a gang of up to four men armed with machetes at his rented home in Maglin in the early hours of June 10th 2018.
His wife Elzibeta also recieved serious injuries to her hand, while another woman who was staying in the house managed to flee.
The couple's two young children who were also in the house were uninjured.
