File On Operation Nascar To Be Sent To DPP
Gardai in Cork are to prepare a file for the DPP after last night releasing without charge five people arrested as part of an investigation into fraudulent motor insurance claims. The three men and two women were arrested under Section 2 of the Criminal Justict Act - at around 8am yesterday morning. All five - who range in age from their 20s to their 40s - were brought to Mallow, Middleton and Cobh garda stations. A file on the matter will now be sent to the DPP.
