Coveney says final decision on Events Centre just weeks away

That's according to Minister Simon Coveney who says he's determined to make it happen

An initial €20 million in public funding was awarded to the project, however following a detailed internal re-design developers requested an additional €18 million in state support.

The Foreign Affairs Minister says the state is willing to give more funding to the project but there are legal constraints in terms of how much more can be given.
