Finishing Touches To Restaurants And Bars In Place Ahead Of Todays's Reopening Of Outdoor Dining

Thousands of staff have been hired in the city and county ahead of the latest easing of restrictions, which come less than a week after hotels and other accommodation centres were allowed to open
Traders in the City centre are hoping the pedestrianisation of 17 streets to allow for over 2,300 outdoor seats, will help them to go some of the way towards making up for lost earnings.
Speaking to RedFM News, Claire Nash from Nash 19 on Princes Street says the continued roll out of vaccines will give people extra confidence:
"Having opened every other period with zero vaccinations, this is our first time opening with actually over 50%. So I mean, that has to be a step in the right direction, and it just has taken that dread, a back of your head, as an employer, that you're bringing your staff into a scenario of very, very strict and stringent COVID practice."
