Fire service speak out about abuse on the job

It comes after youths attacked them while they were tackling a blaze.
The actions of youths who attacked fire fighters in the city recently have been condemned.
Fire crews who were battling gorse fires on the northside of the city earlier this month were assisted by gardaí when a gang of youths pelted them with stones and other missiles from higher ground.
The fire service says they're also being verbally abused while trying to carry out their duties.
Speaking to RedFM News Assistant Chief Fire Officer in Cork City Fire Brigade David Spillette says those engaging in this type of behaviour need to be aware they could be hampering fire crews from conducting their duties.
