First exam of the Leaving and Junior Cert completed
Thousands of Leaving and Junior Cert students are back in the exam halls this afternoon. More than 13,000 students in the city and county sat English Paper one this morning. The exams will continue for the next fortnight with over 90 subjects being examined. Education Minister Ruairi Quinn urged students to relax and take it easy last night.
