Flight School In Cork Lands Multi-Million Euro Contract

A flight school based in Cork has signed a multi-million euro contract to train pilots for one of the top airlines in Central Asia and India. The four-year deal between the Atlantic Flight Training Academy based at Cork Airport and Air Astana will create 20 new jobs. Supported by Enterprise Ireland, the new deal has been hailed as a major boost for Ireland’s aviation sector which will position Cork as one of Europe’s top flight training hubs. The 20 flight training jobs at the academy will come on stream over the next year to service the contract.
