Flood relief plan for Cork unveiled

A 50 million euro plan to save Cork from future flooding disasters has been revealed. The plan will see more controlled releases of water from the ESB dams ahead of extreme weather and various structural changes in the city and suburbs. The Office of Public Works is today publishing the emerging, preferred option for a flood relief scheme for the city.
