A Cork housing charity says any increase in rent will put people under pressure.
Dick White from Focus Ireland was speaking after the government announced Rent Pressure Zone Legislation won't be reviewed until the autumn, meaning some renters could face an increase of 8% this summer.

"Yes, I think it will increase pressure on our advice and information service, and it will increase pressure on families.
"We still need to look into the full impact of it, but in my view there will be an increase in our services with people seeking advice and information."
