Former British Prime Minister's Chief Advisor Says He Was In Room When "Bodies Pile High" Comment Made

The former British Prime Minister's Chief Advisor says he was in the room when Boris Johnson said "he would rather see bodies pile high" than order another lockdown
The infamous remark is denied by Downing Street.
Dominic Cummings has been giving evidence to MPs, where he has been highly critical of the British Government's handling of the pandemic.
He says he repeatedly urged the Prime Minister to sack the Health Secretary, Matt Hancock:
"I said sack him almost every week, sometimes almost every day. He was told though that you should not sack him, you should keep him there because he's the person you fire when the inquiry comes along. My counter argument to that was if you leave him there, we're going to have another set of disasters in the autumn."
