Former Rose Of Tralee Escort Jailed For 18 Months After Pleading Guilty To Distributing Child Pornography
35 year old Timothy Lynch of St Oliver's Place, Kanturk pleaded guilty to one count of possessing and three counts of distributing child pornography
Cork Circuit Criminal Court heard the matters came to light after Gardaí were contacted by Welsh police who were tracking the activities of a British citizen who was contacted by 40 different people using an anonymous phone app, including Timothy Lynch.
Gardaí raided his family home Mallow in April 2015.
Judge Sean O Donnabhain sentenced Lynch to three years in jail but suspended the final 18 months in light of of his guilty plea.
