Foster faces battle to remain DUP leader
Northern Ireland First Minister Arlene Foster is facing a battle to remain as leader of the DUP.
It's reported over three quarters of DUP MLA's and half of the party's MPs have signed a letter expressing no confidence in Ms Foster.
Grassroots members of the party and wider unionists are believed to be angered by the Northern Ireland protocol.
Freelance journalist in Belfast Amanda Ferguson outlines who would be in contention to take over as DUP Leader if Arlene Foster is removed.
"Someone like Sir Jeffrey Donaldson, the Westminister MP would perhaps have been viewed as a natural successor at some point.
"We know that Edwin Poots has been sort of agitating to a certain extent, we know that Sammy Wilson has had leadership ambitions in the past, and someone like Gavin Robinson who's viewed as the new face of the DUP, the younger face of the DUP."
