Four Year Old hit by car in a stable condition.
A four year old boy hit by a car in the Northside of Cork yesterday, was reportedly running away from a wasp.
Gardaí are appealing for information after a young boy was struck by a car at St. John's Well on the Commons Road yesterday evening.
The four year old was brought to Cork University Hospital with serious injuries following the incident, but is reported to be in a stable condition this morning.
It is understood that the boy ran onto the road to get away from a wasp at the time of the accident, and was hit by a car.
Officers in Gurranabraher have launched an investigation and are asking anyone with information to contact them on 021 4946200..
