Fresh calls for blood donations Leeside

The IBTS say there are a number of blood supply types that are quite low.
Concerns have been expressed about the blood stock levels in Cork as the summer approaches.
The Irish Blood Transfusion Service say all blood types are needed but that the supplies for O positive, O Negative and A positive types are quite low.
The IBTS are calling on people across Cork to give blood and as well as their clinic in Douglas, they will be holding donation clinics in Ballincollig and Ovens this week.
Speaking to RedFM News, Ann O'Donovan from the IBTS says sporting events can also have an impact on their supply:
