Fresh calls made for an end to the system of Direct Provision

A rally against the system is being held in the city centre this afternoon
It comes ahead of the third anniversary of the occupation of the Kinsale Road Direct Provision Centre by residents.
At that time residents locked out management and manned a picket for 10 days in protest at conditions in the centre and against the wider system of Direct Provision.
Joe Moore of Anti Deportation Ireland told RedFM News that following the picket conditions at these centres improved slightly but Direct Provision can never be reformed into a place where people can live with dignity.
