Fresh calls to review parking structure in the city

The call comes from Cork Business Association.

Calls are continuing for an overhaul of parking in the city centre.

It follows reports this week that the Black Ash Park'N'Ride facility is operating at a loss with only 350 cars using the  940 space facility each day.

Despite the availability of this car park and other multi-storey facilities recent figures show that 75 parking fines were issued every day in the city last year.

Speaking to RedFM News Laurence Owens of the Cork Business Association says the system needs reform.
