Full Weekday Rail Service Resumes Across Country From Tuesday

Iarnrod Eireann says it's taking the step to meet the needs of an increased number of passengers
A reduced service has been in place since January 11th, with some extra services running since schools reopened.
Iarnrod Eireann spokesperson, Barry Kenny has this advice for the bank holiday weekend:
"Well on the May Bank Holiday weekend people should check times before travel on all routes. Particularly if you're travelling to from Heuston Station, where on Saturday and Sunday, we will have bus transfers for part of the journey for all of those routes, because of works in Inchicore and between Portarlington and Athlone."
