Funding secured for speed ramps in Knocknaheeny and Holyhill
€25,000 has been secured for the installation of speed ramps in the Knocknaheeny/Hollyhill area
The move follows regular protests by residents to highlight the dangers of speeding and their appeal for traffic calming on Harbour View Road
Ten speed ramps will be installed on Harbour View road from Bakers road up to Tadgh Barry Road
The traffic calming measure will go through the public Consultation process but it has been broadly welcomed by locals in the area
