Fundraiser for Ryan Murphy has reached over €47,000
28 year old Ryan Murphy underwent emergency surgery at CUH after he was found collapsed on the road in October last year.
A fundraiser to help a young Cork man who suffered a traumatic brain injury has reached over €47,000
The Midleton native spent three weeks in a coma after he suffered a stroke following the surgery and later contracted Covid.
Ryan is currently recovering at the National Rehab Centre and his family plan to bring him home to Cork in the next few months.
Speaking to RedFM News, his sister-in-law Tracey says not being able to see Ryan due to visiting restrictions was very tough:
